Who

Acoustic Survey is an evolving practice at the intersection of sound art, spatial research, and site-specific performance. Inspired by the work of R. Murray Schafer, Pauline Oliveros, and Robert Smithson, it explores the ways in which sound defines and transforms spaces, revealing their histories, structures, and resonant qualities. Through deep listening, field recording, and experimental interventions, Acoustic Survey seeks to uncover the layers of sound sedimented in different environments, from industrial ruins to natural landscapes and urban corridors.

The practice has been developed through a series of projects, including improvised sonic explorations in historical sites, collaborative soundwalks, and installations that reintroduce environmental sounds into spaces in unexpected ways. The Acoustic Survey Art Lab serves as a platform for research and collaboration, bringing together artists, musicians, and researchers to examine the acoustic properties of spaces and develop site-responsive works.

In addition to artistic projects, Acoustic Survey engages in participatory workshops, collaborative experiments, and commissioned sound research, offering insights into spatial acoustics, sonic mapping, and creative engagement with sound. Whether through experimental performances, community-driven sound walks, or immersive installations, the practice invites audiences to experience space through an auditory lens, fostering a deeper awareness of the sonic environment and its impact on perception.
