Portfolio
Acoustic Survey is a research-driven practice investigating the sonic characteristics of spaces through listening, recording, and site-specific experimentation. It encompasses a range of approaches, from field recording and sonic mapping to live improvisation, sound installation, and audience participation. The practice extends beyond documentation, actively engaging with the environment by introducing, layering, and recontextualizing sound to reveal spatial acoustics, resonances, and hidden sonic interactions. Through the Acoustic Survey Art Lab, artists, researchers, and musicians collaborate to explore the ways sound shapes and is shaped by place, history, and materiality. Whether through structured experiments, improvised performances, or participatory workshops, Acoustic Survey is a process of deep listening and creative interrogation, offering new ways of perceiving and interacting with our sonic surroundings.
